The Color of the diamond could range from colorless to yellow:

to the untrained eye a diamond, which at first may appear colorless, can in fact have traces of yellow and brown colors in it.

Colors, range from "D" grading (as the most colorless) to "Z" grade (as the closest to fancy yellow).

The closest to colorless a stone is, the more valuable the diamond is.
